S Factor Teacher Training Information
Candidates
for Teacher Training should be outgoing, nurturing, emotionally mature
individuals who are committed to teaching and empowering women
through movement. Fitness professionals (yoga, Pilates and group fitness instructors),
and those with dance backgrounds, such as ballet and modern, are encouraged to apply. Ideally candidates
should have knowledge of Sheila Kelley's S Factor movement through attending our classes,
or using our book and DVDs on a regular basis.
As our classes are physically and mentally demanding, we hold our instructors to an extremely high standard. Therefore, they require a great deal of skills and abilities including:
Physical - endurance (stamina to train
up to 12 hours per day and teach 6-8 hours per day), flexibility and the ability to demonstrate clean, crisp feminine movement, as well as the strength to pull up and
hold body weight repeatedly.
Emotional/mental - insight, perception, compassion, patience,
observant, nurturing, maturity, exciting, engaging, and confident.
Other – responsible work habits, trustworthy, able to work mornings, evenings and
weekends.

will be contacted with additional information on training dates, assessments
and pre-training requirements.
Dates of training for various locations is TBD.
We are currently seeking Teachers in the following cities:
Costa Mesa (Orange County, CA)
Encino (San Fernando Valley, CA)
*All applications are due by Friday, October 31st 2008*
Candidates must be able to workout/train from 8-12 hours per day, up to six
days per week and receive clearance from their physician to do so.
Once completed, Teacher Trainees may only teach at Sheila Kelley's S Factor
studio locations.
