A Day in the Life: Sleep and snuggle with my dog and/or boyfriend as long as humanly possible…even if I have to force them! Will myself out of bed and immediately to the coffee maker for my daily wake up dose of caffeine. Spend the rest of my day multi-tasking to reinforce that Whitney Houston was right and I really AM “every woman”! The best days are S days so I am constantly teaching or taking class, even if it has to be done in my head. When the sun sets I look forward to spending quality time with my nearest and dearest (which of course includes but is not limited to me, myself and I). Eventually the boy, the dog and I slip right back into the bed I didn’t want to leave in the first place and I am grateful…for all of it!
Preferred S Song: Music means so much and is so personal I could never play favorites…I will say I am super versatile and connect with many genres. To name some artists on my playlists now: Massive Attack, Florence and the Machine, Kings of Leon, Adele, Marilyn Manson, Eminem, Kanye/Jay-Z, King Fantastic, Bassnectar, Tech N9ne, The Weeknd and NIN.
Teaching Style: Enthusiastic, supportive, encouraging and understanding. I’m engaged and urge my students to sink in for the best experience possible. I love women challenging themselves to see how much they are capable of.
Personality: I’m like a Rubik's cube: colorful, complex, challenging, fun, teasing, constantly changing/evolving and at times, impossible to figure out! In the end, I’m not all that serious, it’s just a game!
Reason for Teaching: I teach because I couldn’t imagine NOT teaching! To me, S Factor is the most significant movement that exists for women individually and collectively. I am proud to be a part of the evolution of something so impactful. There is nothing more rewarding.
Can't Live Without: Love, laughter, food, books, movies, music, modern technology (from iPads to airplanes), sleep, coffee, animals, oxygen and S Factor!!!
